  1. We need a Broken Image report tool in Photo.

    http://photos.alphacoders.com/photos/view/2491/Cpt-Pond-photo has a broken thumb, and there are no means to report it from within PhotoA.

  2. Currently comments on wallpapers that are transfered to AA are not listed on the "View More Comments / Recent Comments" areas. Could you make it so they don't clog up the Comments Sidebar on the main page also please?

  4. Hi, I was wondering if this idea maybe considered sometime?. The Social Media bar right below the View/Sort bar is really close to the activity feed and I am always accidently open something in the Social Media bar.  Could the social Media bar possibly be moved above the View/Sort bar, or tucked away somewhere else?.   6. Several of the users wallpaper sections are so large that it is very difficult to navigate them by page, especially to get back to a page you left off from the last time you were viewing. Can you make a search box on the wallpaper profile area we use by putting in a page number to navigate to?

  7. During my searches on WA I noticed catagories like Anime have like 15 pages of subs to look through. I was wondering if when in a certain catagorie maybe we could search by alphabet also?

  1. I know I saw a post about this but I couldn't find it, sorry to take up more space. Could you do something about the new profile page's background and color scheme. It really is a very stark and uninviting color scheme and the brightness of the ultra white background is hard on my poor old vision, lolz.

  2. Did you implement any new feature for the reporting/message notification on favorited uploads?  I have a large amount of favorited upload notifications in todays batch with no user name attached.

  3. It would be nice if users could have the option of following either a catagory as a whole or subcatagories to the ends of searching all new submissions only within followed catagories/subcatagories since last login at once. But since I do realize the amount of programming that would require, perhaps as a start, create a list of links to followed catagories/subcatagories within the profile.


  4. I was just hopping around Wall and it occured to me that Subcategories that are popular should have a permanant place of discussion with a link provided in Wall.

    My thoughs on this are to create a subforum within "Wallpaper Discussion" for the purpose of talking about current walls, source content (if video game, movie, or television series), and requests. Now, with so many subcategories out there, what's popular? I think two subforums would be in order: Viral and pupular. Viral would require 250+ walls and Popular would require 100+. When a Popular subcat moves to Viral, all content in the thread moves and a single locked post with the new location is left in its place.

Just a thought, but would it be possible to create a running total of the number of walls in categories on the Category main page and the number of walls in Subcategories in their respective subcat page? I'm thinking a little pop-up, floating number as one moves the mouse cursor over the subcategory's thumbnail. Nothing fancy, just a little white box with a number.

  6. Perhaps a subthread for all the threads that are marked by AlphaSystem as addressed is needed. Given that 16/30 threads on the first page of this Site Features thread are from AlphaSystems, that has pushed some unaddressed ideas to the second page. So, rather then bump them, move the addressed features to their own subthread.

  7. :D Just an idea. I know we are able to give the artists home website URL "although we still can't seem to figure out how lolz", would it be feasable to actually add the artists url during the upload process instead?. I think it would be alot easier to give artists proper credit:)  Thanks for your consideration:)  

    I have been adding the URl's to the name of the wallpaper, but it looks kind of tacky;)

  8. In the Message screen, it would be nice if a user could select the option to compose a new message to a another user without having to go the intended recipient's profile first. That involves a series of going to one's profile, then to one's fan page, selecting the intended recipient, and finally clicking "send message".

    What I see as a nice progression of screens is as follows:
    ~Within the Inbox screen, provide a link "Compose New Message" that takes you to the next screen,
    ~This next screen contains list of people who have fanned you and ones you have fanned with connected to a "send message command" link[1], as well as an entry box for those users you have not fanned[2].
    [1]~This option takes you straight to the compose message screen.
    [2]~This option brings up a message box asking if you would like to become a fan before proceeding to the compose message box.

    Suggestions on improvements to my system?

  9. It would be nice if users could sort their favorites into galleries.
    But even once placed into galleries provide means to sort by top rated, submitter, most favorited, color scheme both inside the gallery and in the manin favorite page.

  10. David, would it be possible to create 3 or 4 additional color schemes for the forum that users could choose from?

    I ask, because I flipped back to the forums after being at the Zelda Wiki site, which uses dark-mid blues and muted blues as it's bg colors, and I had to squint because these forums are so bright.

    For the aditional color schemes, I'm thinking:
    A calming blue, in the darker range of blues, that would be perfect for low light situations.
    A light beige motif
    A beige and light red motif
    A nice green motif, dark green bg with lighter green bg's around posts and in banner
    A purple motif along the same lines as green


    What colors would you like to see?

  11. David, I was thinking you might want to limit how much of each new blog is shown on the main Blogs page to 15 lines. This would encourage users to actually go to another user's blog to see the entire post and see the work that may have been put into the blog. Having new blog entries in their entirety on the main page negates the need to go to any user's blog, when the entries can be read on the main page. I also feel the same 15 line limit should be on the main page of my blog entries. This would allow for the creation of ahit counter in each blog entry.

  12. I officially request the ability to edit a Topic Title after the Topic is posted.

    Perhaps the easiest way to impliment this would be to impose a ten minute or second post limit.
    The second post limit would be initiated only if a second user posts in a topic after the original post.

  13. really should advertise it a little more... or have someone on regularly to help answer questions, even if its just someone logged on to hear the annoying beeps when someone posts something...

  14. i see currently, the daily views only goes back so far... would be cool to have an option to expand this to hourly, monthly, 3-month and year period or something so you can really see the progression of views on your walls and art pieces

  16. Another thought I had for Blogs are subcategories. I would love to be able to have blogs posted on a main page as described above, but to also have categories with names of my choosing for the blogs. So if someone is only interested in Abyss related projects, they can go to that category, or my poetic translations of lyrics, or section for short writings, or even a place to put recipes I've come up with.

    I'm thinking the best implementation for this would be to create/choose the subcategory during the Entry process and decide if it should be featured on a user's main page at the same time.
